This Steve & Kayla montage aired on Day of Our Lives in 1992.
This was the last scene of Kayla's/Mary Beth Evans first run on Days of Our Lives, she left Salem with Stephanie to take up a new job in LA and did not return to the show untill 2006.
I cried like a baby when this show aired, it still gets to me now, for me it was the saddest day ever on Days of Our Lives, my favourite character was gone and with her any chance of Steve returning, it truely was the end of a golden era.

I remember this episode.Steve was my favorite character on the show at the time.

But she came back, and even with all the story shortcomings in the return, they're TOGETHER now, and they love each other a lot. They kept their promises to each other. They showed each other love, support, encouragement and a basic and strong belief in each other all the way down the line, no matter what year it was.

I love that.

It means something to me, just knowing that.
