@tublare69 Birds that display that "broken" wing behavior don't let animals get close enough to touch them, that bird is clearly sick or injured.

Our sheep let the pheasants cuddle up to them for warmth at night in the field and they will defend them against the foxes. Sheep are very clever once their old enough.
