Hey, thanks for the comment. The trick to mounting the machine is planning. I drill a 1/4" hole under the switch points in the center of the track when I install the turnout. Then you can install the switch machine anytime you want.

P.S. I might be starting on my layout soon, as I have my building finished. I have a 14' wide X 24' long X 15' high Morgan Metal building that I have wired, insulated, covered the walls in 5/8" plywood, and installed an AC/Heating unit. I just have to run the wiring in the ground from the back of my building to the Disconnect breaker box on the side of my house. I then have to remove a wall in the middle of the building and start my bench work.

Great update!! You are definately headed in the right direction. I really like the lifts in the dealership. Great construction! I really can't wait to get started on my layout. Right now I am concentrating on detailing and installing my dcc decoders in all my locos. I think I am up to about 50 or 60 locos and about 200 rolling stock.
What brand of locos are the F7s and what kind of decoders are installed?
Thanks again for the update.
