A Jonas Brothers Love Story chapter 20

I kissed him with as much passion as I possibly could. He matched me as his hand moved up my back to hold my head with both hands.
???: WHOA!
-End POV-

-Joe's POV-
"Jazz... it's all going to be okay. I promise." She didn't respond. Well.. not verbally. At first, I thought I had made her angry because she let go of my hand.
Jazz: Thank you Joe
As she stared at me, she turned her body slightly and took my hand back. I hadn't expected this, but I allowed her to pull me closer. She put her other arm behind my head and my heart rate went up a little more. Now that I was sure she wanted this, I put my arm around her and pulled her to me and let go of her hand. I pushed her hair off her neck and rested my hand there. Her hands got tangled in my hair and she closed her eyes. Then our lips met, and my eyes closed as well. I had just moved my hand off her waist to hold her head when....
???: WHOA!
I knew that voice! Jazz released me and sprang backwards. Crystal jumped up off the bed and growled. Kevin put his hands up to try to calm the angry dalmatian as he stared at the 2 of us on her bed. "What are you doing here?"
Kevin: I could ask you the same thing!
"I have permission to be in here! You on the other hand...." I wasn't even masking my anger. Kevin just barged in whenever he wanted. Just because he's the oldest does NOT give him permission to go wherever he wanted!
Kevin: I was SENT here by mom. To tell you 2 that dinner was ready.
Jazz: Okay. Thanks Kevin.
I could hear the slight tremor in her voice that said she was completely embarrassed by what Kevin had just seen. I was still furious with him, but I couldn't keep yelling. He left and I went over to Jazz.
Jazz: *looks up at me and smiles a tiny bit*
What a cute little smile. She looks almost scared... as thought she thought she did something wrong. "Well.. I guess we'd better go before he comes back."
Jazz: Yeah. We wouldn't want him having to get us again.
Good. She was joking around again... completely back to normal. She had probably just been shocked by Kevin's sudden appearance in her doorway. I leaned down a little and gave her a quick kiss o the lips before leading her back downstairs.
Aly: Hi guys!
Regina: We were just about to come up and force you to come down!
Kevin: *smirks*
Nick: What took you so long anyway? Mom called up to you before she sent Kevin up.
Kevin: they were rather distracted.
I glared at him
Regina: *giggles*
Jazz: *sits down next to regina, smiling*
I took my seat next to her just as mom handed me a huge plate of steak. "Yum!" Best. Cook. Ever.

We finished eating about 7 and then Nick offered to walk Aly and Regina home. I was pretty sure it was just to stay with Aly, and so did Jazz and Regina the way they exchanged a knowing look and giggled again. We had just sat down to watch some TV when kevin decided to join us.
Kevin: What are you guys watching?
Jazz: Nothing yet.
How was she being so calm around him? She had seemed completely embarrassed before.
Kevin: the movie channel is 47.
I switched to it.
Jazz: *squeals* My favorite!!
I couldn't help smiling. I liked Forrest Gump too. It wasn't even halfway yet, so we settled in t watch. Jazz had shivered a little and I grabbed a blanket right away. I threw it over her. She smiled at me and then switched her seating so she was leaning on me. I grabbed a 2nd blanket to out on myself, and made sure it covered her as well. When the movie ended, I looked at her and saw she was asleep. Wow. She had been awake 10 minutes ago.... she must be exhausted. She looked really peaceful. Sometime during the movie, she had covered both of us in both the blankets and put her arms around me. Kevin had left about halfway through. I gently stroked her head. "Jazz?"
Jazz: *opens her eyes a tiny bit* Hmm?
"I think you should go up to bed." I helped her stand up.... not really giving her a choice.
Jazz: *letting me lead her to the stairs* Okay...
She was so tired. I was glad she had already changed so I didn't have to wake her up more. I just helped her into her bed and covered her with her blankets. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight. I'll get you up in the morning" Then she surprised me as I went to lean back. She pulled me back down and kissed me too. I smiled at her when she let go. "Goodnight Jazz."
Jazz: 'Night Joe.
I went out and got ready for bed myself. I was so happy. Today had been almost completely perfect. Except for the small problem with Dan..... but I didn't want to think of him. I pushed him out of my mind as I got into bed. I was now only thinking about Jazz. That first kiss with her.... Wow. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
