Most people don't understand that movies like Drive, keep all that 'corny' and 'whity' crap out of the movie so that you have a dialogue that keeps interested and keeps you watching and waiting to find out what's going to happen next.

@zippy476 The only reason all of the bad stuff happened was because he tried to help the mexican guy, if he wouldn't have helped the mexican guy then the mexican guy would have been killed by the loan sharks and maybe, just maybe, the driver guy would have gotten with mrs.cutie after the mexican guy was gone.

rarely do you get a movie with such masterful story telling them get the acyors to do the most amazing job of their careers, and when you hear the soundtrack and take all of that in it just gives you hope,
