I remember this cartoon. This one had Merlin bringing Arthur King and his fellow football players to Camelot to defend it when Morgan le Fay had trapped the real King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table in a prison of glass. I don't think they were able to make an episode where the real King Arthur and his knights were freed before the show's cancellation.

I remember as a kid this being just another cartoon. But looking back, its a really cool take on the Arthur story. Wish I had followed it alot more closely
