you realise its easier to just do a line of water sources blocks one block apart (so you end up with a line) then just drop 1! source block 3 block in from the corner (1 block space from your line) and the lake with then fill itself

@narc0tiq yeh my apologise i ment to say drop them 1 block space between along from the corner and the lake will just fill itself (2 rows at a time) so a 7 by 7 lake would only require about 6-7 buckets to fill

@deadmauCA Right click while holding the bucket and facing water :D It has to be taken from a spring (where it starts) not what the spring made :D
