i am a four wheel drive specialty mechanic in new jersey and i agree hummers suck the best off roading vehicle is the jeep wrangler and the toyota landcruiser hands down

and granted your in new jersey theirs different styles of 4x4 every where you go so whatever works best in that environment might fail in others

yes this is true but the land crusier will rock it stock wheras the jeep wrangler sucks stock, i have pulled out more stock wranglers then any other vehicle.

toyota parts are easier to find than land rover, those 80 series land cruisers where designed to be almost a maitenance free vehicle and where made to be the toughfest SUV ever the U.S. model came fully dressed up with leather and fancy luxury interior with a very high price that most people that bought them never really used them as a primary offroad vehicle. you can sleep underneath them in them or on top of them.

ignorance is bliss but at least you all are having fun. hummers are nothing but laughable at best in their offroad capabilities.
