Wayne State Housing Rap - Garrett Yee

Hey Warriors. I made this quick vid for the housing contest to let all of you know why I love living on campus. Here are the lyrics for you:

The green and the gold all the warriors love me,

I live on campus in Towers,
right next to the Rec Center, balling like Howard.
Commuters wake up early sit in traffic for hours,
while I have the time to sleep in, eat breakfast, and shower.

People who are scared of my city they act uptight,
believing all the rumors they hear but the facts ain't right,
if Detroit is dead then Wayne will bring it back to life,

This campus life really is rewarding,
I never have to cook, my meals are made for me,
life is never boring, all my friends are dorming,

The DIA's dazzling displays will astound, or
our orchestra creates outcries for encores,
really riveting RiverFront, enjoy the outdoors,
M - magnificent meals - Mexican Town, more?

OK - Lions Wings and Tigers home games,
ice skating at the Martius on the cold days,
Fox Theater has all kinds of music, shows, plays,
Eastern Market hit it up for fresh grown taste!

How do you like searching for spots inside the structure?
Tell me how it's working living at home with mother.
I know you must be hurting, yearning for the summer,
friends are finally returning and you can see each other.

You're tripping like your shoes are untied,
don't believe the D is great? You should visit sometime.
