JJ515 arrives and departs on a scheduled morning up Seymour passenger train at Kilmore East in December 1988. The trailing loco is a P class to provide power for the consist.

  • @azervich Yes you are correct, My error. The SRHC had a practice of using a second loco on their diesel hauled trains to avoid disruption to other schedules, as the fines imposed were steep.

  • That looks more like a P class, probably would of been used for 415vac to run the lighting and aircon for the H cars as there was no powervan.
