@biNuTheFirst It is ugly for sure. When a family asked for it, I told them it's NOT thep prettiest out there but it's worth the money and the function over design is what you're getting.

I have heard that the build quality on this laptop isn't that great. How would you rate the build quality, Is it good enough to last around 3 years?

@Ph03nix9 This is going to depend how you are with your technology. It does feel a little bit more on the "Plastic" feeling though so if dropped, expect to snap a few things back in place but I do feel it being much sturdy than other "consumer" tablets out there.

Lenovo Thinkpad Edges are easily worth 1200-1900, but they always have a "Sale" that has a reduced price down to at least half the list price. The reason why Lenovo is still so strong and don't need to bother with marketing is because they have such a strong business consumer base that have been enjoying these brilliant laptops for years. If Lenovo bothered to push these as much as Apple did for the Macbook, Thinkpads would be the standard. If you're smart, get a Thinkpad.

lenovo has its own customers. If you are looking for something to be able to use for ever in my opinion Thinkpad is the best choice. My father bought a thinkpad when it was still IBM about 7 years ago and he is still using that. It's been through any rough condition you could ever think of. last month i got a thinkpad edge E520. best laptops ever. Also the only laptops certified to be used in " International Space Station" is Thinkpad.
