The immaturity on this thread is amazing. If you all would depersonalize the conversation and stop attacking each other, you might have time to actually debate the issues like mature adults. I caution you all to think before you act, speak, and make important life altering decisions. You will live through eternity with the consequences of what you do. The Gospel is for everyone, but few heed the call of the Master. Christian meekness is a calm relyance on the Holy Spirit. Respect each other!

Baptism is not a work because we can never be good enough for God. We need His grace. What baptism IS is obedience. After all, why would you not want to obey God and show your love for Him by doing what Jesus commanded and said was necessary? IF you truly want to please Him and be saved.

Read 1st Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 1-4: The apostle Paul is telling us how to get to heaven. Just believe in Jesus' death, burial, and resurection and you are saved. You can't earn your way to heaven or by doing works(baptism, living a better life, etc.) will not save you from the pit of hell. It's that simple by your faith and believe that Jesus died for you on that cross, that he was buried and that he was resurrected, it's that easy. Nothing so simple as that.

@maestro4110 If it was a delusion then y r there atheists who become Christians? There were scientists who spent their lives trying 2 destroy Christianity that ended up becoming Christians. @maestro4110 Wow. Did u read ANY of my comments? All u did was repeat the same thing 4 the 3rd time. Also God didn't do those things to the planet. Global warming was caused by men, Hitler, Stalin,and Mao zen dong(who were all atheists) were MEN(not Gods) who killed people in the name of a regime with atheistic features. If it was up to us, then Hitler would be president of the world. What did God do? Oh yeah, he gave us martin Luther jr,mother Teresa and JFK(all Christians).

The .5 million left r not even all atheists(agnostics,no religion).I hope u realize we're in the 21st century cause of religious people. Gandhi,Albert Einstein, Issac Newton, Abe Lincoln, Martin Luther king.It was atheists like Hitler, stalin,and mao zedong that almost stopped us from reaching the 21st century.
