RC Lawnmower in Action

This is my finished RC Lawnmower in action. I put it together from the parts of an old electric wheelchair (see one of my other videos), an old mower that was about to be thrown out as the drive was gone... :) a Direct Current motor control from RobotPower.com, a couple of marine batteries and my Futaba Radio Controller and receiver.

Nice Mower.

I built one a while back and it is allot of fun.

My mower's self propel gears went out so instead of junking it i made it RC like yours. I also use the same speed controller Nice piece of work there!

I understand what you mean about tricky to become smooth on the steering. I find it helps to program the radio transmitter with a bit more dead band and slow it down a bit? Maybe that would be of help with yours? Also i use a spectrum DX3 steering wheel radio instead of the two sticker?
