This is for an English course, seventeenth century lit. Any of you getting to present on Constantine? Be jealous. ;P

  • What exactly did you have to present from Constantine?

  • @Hiveslayer18989 I was comparing Constantine's Lucifer to Lucifer from Paradise Lost, showing how modern interpretations of Satan appear different because of cultural changes but actually form on the same principles. Say, Satan might appear in a business suit 'stead of armor because we associate power with political/criminal trickery more than a bronze sword today, but it's still power.

  • I had to listen with earphones on cause you can barely hear it with all volumes up to the max on all speakers.

  • @TheFramer38 Indeed. I had to switch to the DVD for my presentation. I don't know what went wrong with the audio.

  • Wish you had uploaded this scene with higher volume :<

  • @leatherenthusiast So did I. Not sure what I did to botch it.

  • Peter Stormare stole this film. :-)

  • @EllenRebecca3 That's because Peter Stormare does evil better than anyone. Even Al Pacino can't do Satan quite like Peter...

  • @TrueNone13 It's interesting how Lucifer is portrayed as wearing white. The way I interpret it from what I know is, like all angels, they are facets or personas used by the Creator from within His Kingdom (masculine/active force of its operating system closest to source) to give a certain message. To assist the development of its beings/human in the process of Creation--still in the making from our relative time/space viewpoint, which involves expansion and contraction (return to source)

  • Lucifer: So... John:..So. Lucifer: Yeah, whaddya want? An extentiooooonnn? HAHAHA! Yes!!!

Lucifer: *groans* Fine. It's done. Time to go, John. John: *takes hit of cigarette* Yeah. *puts it out in his blood*

Thanks for uploading, sorry but I had to quote or type out parts of this scene. As you can tell, I really like it.

  • put the volume up

  • @TrueNone13 seeing as this is based on hellblazer, the Lucifer in this is the same as sandman. Which is based heavily on John Milton's Lucifer

  • @Thatevilmidget I agree. :-D He rocks!

  • It's a real crying shame that Keanu Reeves and Shia Laboufe were in this movie. This film really cried out for a crazy man. Honestly even Johnny Depp would've been better suited than the animated block of wood they cast.
