When you double tap you pull the trigger twice quick, this pistol operates in the same manner.

It's not both rounds at once, it's a double action trigger. What good would a gun do if it fired both at once? That's a pepperbox design, and you'd have no rounds left for a possible second shot on a different aggressor. Notice it says "sequentially firing". That means if fire each round in sequence.
I am concerned about gas blowout issues near the rear, though. You'll have to be very conscious of your thumb placement or it'll get burned.

Nifty trigger mechanism. Always nice to see a new invention. Will be interesting to see how smooth the pull is with that bearing in there.
