its true there are quarter notes, but it sound more fuller holding them, maybe u can try it for fun.

@ClassicalJoeNo1 Hello Joe,Great Interpretation.I am currently learning this piece..I have difficulty playing the piece entirely in staccato when it comes to picking the open string notes..any suggestions as to what i can do?

@likasumebody I think that we need to mute the notes along a scale to make it clean & clear. I have a video on my blog to demonstrate the difference between muting and without muting while playing this scale.
