I did a quick doodle using Alchemy drawing software and then saved the image as an SVG file. Once that was done I made 100 copies of the image. Then I opened each picture using Notepad++ swapping just one number from 0 - 9 with a another number from that series for each file, never repeating a change more than once. This process glitches the SVG file, distorting the image out of shape. I arranged the images into a series of frames using Avidemux.
The soundtrack was created buy exploiting a glitch in Avidemux. I've noticed if you add a new sound file to a video and set the frame rate 8 or less it distorts the music or chops up into fragments. I looped the noise that was produced and then imported and exported it between Goldwave and Audacity until it was suitably distorted.
Being a bit of a magpie I purloined the idea of bending SVGs from a young chap who's heavily into cat food. I'm not in to cats or food myself but I really liked this neat trick. If you want to read more about this, type the words 'Hello' and 'Catfood' into any good search engine.
Kinda spooky...could be an intro to a horror movie!

@Darrylb500 Thanks for the comment. That was the kind of atmosphere I was aiming for.

@hellocatfood I’m glad that it tickled you. It’s only right and proper that I should give you an honourable mention, if I will insist on pilfering your great ideas.

@artifacterror Just in case you weren't aware a friend of mine made a script to glitch SVG's. It's on my site, just look for dataface. Only works on Linux though

@hellocatfood Thanks a lot for passing on the information. I’ve had a look a Dataface, something definitely to be proud of. Unfortunately I’m a Windows XP kind a person, so no scripts for me! Just liberal bouts of profanity and banging ones head on the keyboard!
