My choir is doing this for UIL competition, and this is what we listened to so we could get what it sounded like. Your blend is beautiful. I have a bit of a hard time hearing the altos, but you did an excellent job.

I did this exact rendition ten years ago. Some time between graduation and three years ago I lost the recording. Hearing the tone and the refinement of such a young group makes me feel a swelling sense of hope in educators and their instilling of as much love and devotion to the beauty of music and the development of young minds as my chorus instructor did for me over a decade ago.

If you haven't heard the M.E. Valverde arrangement of this song, you should check it out. In my opinion, it fits the poem's text a lot better.

it is a little fast and the emotion in the song could be potrayed a little more drastically, but it was overall a good performance.

It's very pretty, but don't you think it's a bit.. Upbeat for the type of song it is? I think he should have slowed it down a bit. It would have made it sound it better; given it more emotion.

Were doing this song at my school. it sucks though. im in middle school, and with such a beutiful song like that.........We sang it in rehearsel one time......im maybe wrong, i may not know what love is yet, but i thought of a girl that entire time. a girl that astonishes me every day. and the last five words.....i just broke down crying and everyone looked at me like i was weird. music is my life, and i wish people respected it for its full potential
