Enjoying a life long dream to live on a working farm, Sauvie Island resident, Brenda Enyart has been raising and riding horses, and observing wildlife on Sauvie Island for many years.
The family's Sauvie Island farm has raised goats, miniature donkeys, and horses. While the farm hosts a menagerie of animals, the largest part of the farm is used to grow corn, peas, barley, wheat and fescue to name a few.
On Sauvie Island , you can find just about any crop that can be grown in the Northwest. Due to our Oregon climate, you aren't going to find anyone on Sauvie Island growing coffee beans. But, that doesn't mean that finest coffee beans from around the world can't be imported and roasted here!
Thus the Sauvie Island Coffee Company was born.
