I don't think it is laziness, I think it is a time issue. With all the things they are trying to put together and rebuild in this game, some of those things just won't happen until the next few patches. What I would like to see is more in depth story telling as you level up from 1-50, as opposed to a great big grind fest.

All races ride chocos the same?....
Man, it feels like their still being lazy when implementing things. EX: Not being able to walk on the airship for a min like in XI...The airships even look lame. nowhere near as cool as they are in XI. And all races riding chocobos the same...No one handing for Elezen?...That sucks.
Still a good game though...Things are coming together.
