this might be a dumb question but why do you have to pull the slide back manually, isnt their a slide release on the side

@astonedgiraffe420 - No, there is a slide release on the left side of the gun. With most pistols I don't use that very much though. I usually use the "overhand slingshot with the weak hand" method. That is supposed to be the simplest most idiot-proof method to train on. It requires no fine motor skills or adjustment of the strong hand. Every method works though. It is just preference.
