OMG, i wish i could do that. The mechanic quoted my 7500 dollars to do this job now i can see why.

I have to do this same job on my Volvo V70. I'm doing evap, heater core, dryer, compressor and orifice tube.

Thats quite a job! How long did it end up taking you and were there any "surprises" along the way? A/C blowing cold now? Thanks!

@kedocom - Thanks. I still have cold air and expect to for some time. I took about three weeks to do this in my spare time in the evenings after work. I took my time and made lots of notes and photographed everything. There were really no surprises but I didn't expect the amount of work that was necessary under the hood. The car was a joy to work on and the engineering was very impressive.
