It is true that some of the gymnast in 2008 olympic team LOOKED like 13 years old but that does not mean the were 13 years old. Being underage in the olympics is a serious accusiation so people need to stop saying such things unless they have proofs

Like the US and other countries haven't done the exact same thing and gotten away with it.
On the other hand some people look very young into their 20s. I read an article by a veteran Chinese male gymnast once who said he could believe the girls were legal because of his own experience. People from his region, he said, were small and often looked much younger than they really were.

16 my f-in ass!!! some probably were. but there were a few that was most def. under freakin 13 atleast. i know ppl are really short and look younger than their real age...but dang!! u can tell the difference. some still had their damn baby teeth!!!! lol u can tell a difference in a 16 year olds body/head/facial/teeth and whatever else!!! ya know lol

In a recent interview, 1996 U.S. Olympic Gold medal winnier Dominique Moceanu said that she could flip around better and was more flexible when she was 14 years old than when she was a little older so as you age and gain height and weight, it does factor in. So I don't think anyone here is saying height is age.
