The last 15 miles or so of my flight into Wilkes-Barre - Wyoming Valley Airport. The haze was very thick and until I started my descent into WBW the video wasn't the best. Take a look on final at how low the haze settled in over the surrounding hills.
It's always a fun flight getting back to the place where my family is from. A small town in Plains township called Keystone, a stones throw from the pocono downs horse racing track.
I was VFR with flight following. I wish the video was better but you can see the typical brown mucky haze we see when in the air. Winter flying is so much better, clean cold air makes good horsepower and makes for a much better view.

Love this vid! Pretty ironic too. Im a student pilot at wyoming valley and have flown that pattern about a million times. Even more ironic is that I also live in plains, right down the street from keystone in hudson. Right next to the pocono downs practice track and now the casino. thats interesting.Good luck with your flying

Good luck with your flight lessons!
I spent many summers running around Hudson. My Aunt&Uncle used to own the "Plains Pub" Many nights spent hanging out up at the wall on Main and Carey St.....I was a teen then. My family lived in Keystone across from the Addy Asphalt plant now American Asphalt. Whew...where did all the years go.
