@meu02136 and its funny because the payoff is it appears he has contrived the whole routine like an english nationalist, (and it would be nice if robin hood etc. was gay....but hes not its only the scottish one that is).

It was only meant to be insulting to Scottish people who thought there was something wrong with being gay, playing on the Scottish stereotype of being hard and stuff. I don't think you know what sanctimonious means, I'm unsure if you're just typing insults at random.

Possibly, Zenzombie, but the main thing is that he's funny. Very funny. Too many of us believers, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc, just can't take a joke. No matter what our beliefs are, we have to understand that there are other people who don't hold them. Live and let live.....and laugh while you're doing it. ;-)
