Flashback to 2004!

I had a rig built in preparation for Half Life 2 (among other games), and it had 1GB memory, an Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz processor, and the Radeon 9800xt. That was when it came out. I think it was something insane like $600.

That machine was a beast. I maxed Half Life 2, but just barely. It was very demanding in every sense, physics being one of them. It had moments of slowdown, though that setup pretty much blew through anything that came out around that generation.

Let's see now. I started at a 3dgx voodoo then a voodoo 2 then a second voodoo (damn game persuaded me to buy) then a banshee, then a nx6600 zero then yesterday I bought a gtx 470. Also someone gave me a geforce 2mx. My 470 would squash that thing lol

my collection of video card starts at Voodoo II Sli and then i started collecting Geforce series but only the Ultra models or top models... so far i got Geforce256, Geforce2 Ultra, Geforce3 Ti500, Geforce4 Ti4600, Geforce FX 5900 ultra and 5950, Geforce 6800 ultra, 7 series I dont have yet. I do have 2 8800 ultras, and a single geforce gtx480... i need to complete my collections of the rest of the card i am missing but its expensive. right now i cant afford another gtx480 :(
