To all the haters. Brian does NOT think he's Jaco. He can play at a level few can play at, and was influenced by those who can (including Jaco) as well. I was lucky enough to play some gigs with him (in a strange "rock" band) and to watch him get people in the audience losing their minds at jazz flavored wild soloing (at a rock gig) only reinforces the fact that great talent shines in any setting. He turned people on to outside, aggressive playing in a rock/funk setting..

I miss that band.

This is great Brian! There's nothing wrong with wearing your influences on your sleeve. Great music is still great music and you have some serious chops going on :) Compositionally this reminded me a little bit of early Pat Metheny et al. Lovely stuff. Subscribed :)
