It also had flashing indicators and a chrome trim round the radiator grill.

Those little Austins are a joy to work on, very simple and strightforward.
A lot of the engine parts are still available because that engine was also used in the early model Mini and other BMC products.
Body panels are very hard to find though.
The A30 and A35 are now sort after by collectors.

Austin A35. This was, in principle, the same as the A30 but had greater rear vision by way of an enlarged window. The Engine in the A35 was upgraded to a 948 cc; this gave the car that extra oomph,
