Frank Black can write about ANYTHING.
One minute, he's singing about PT Barnum and Bigfoot, then about the face on Mars, goes into an underground-trash-rock anthem for the Univ. of Massachusetts, and before you know it, he's singing an ode to sea monkeys! Who else can do that?

It's so weird seeing him perform without the pixies, He'll always be Black Francis to me.

Poor Frank... He suffered from the "Prince" syndrome (and Ani DiFranco) by simply not knowing when to edit himself. Perhaps with better management, he could have made a more significant impact. Edit, Frank... Come on Pilgrim... You know we love you!
