Let's reassert the 4th amendment to airport screening. Ya gotta have a warrant based on probable cause. Just buying an airline ticket does not constitute probable cause. The warrants must issue with an oath or affirmation, and have to specify the place and person to be searched.

The airlines are trying to get the taxpayer to subsidize their security responsibility. If security were privatized, they could require any search they wanted.

Leave airlines liable for damage their planes cause.
