Nice ;) I hadn't realized how much knife fighting and knife making are part of the French culture until I started doing some searching around. One more reason to renew US/France relations, stop this phony French bashing here in the states.

fred perrin is one of the best for knives , he trained and teached knife fighting to the gign (our swat) for severals

you know, don't trust the media... in our country,there are a lot of reportages about how american people are against US army in Irak. France and USA can have different politic opinions but french people still love american tourists. I think it's the same thing in USA...

It could very well be genuine dislike of the French for all I know, perhaps "phony" was not the best adjective but for the most part the bashing from the politicians seems disingenuous to me eg. phony.

Whenever someone in this case France doesn't agree with the US gov't about something we bash them, our VP called the EU "old Europe" etc. Well, since 9/11 and because France didn't support the US invasion of Iraq segments of the US population have been bashing the French people. Not me, right wingers.
