@fergs450 if yours is a ltz 400, 2009 is the fist year of the fuel injection. your model prob says 08/05 or anything after may in 08 on the frame, but is considered a 09 model

actually u r wrong about the 09 having the 1st of the fuel injection....I have an 08 and its injected...EXPLAIN THAT!!!!!!!

the 09 is way faster than the 06 model ...i just got my 2009 z400 and my friends stepdad has a 05 with a jet kit and k&n ,and a slipon hmf....mine is bone stock he rode mine and he said mine was still faster than his
