I haven't posted a video for many weeks after my first video. I have been having many troubles getting a camera with sound. The one I bought doesn't save as something I can edit... saves it as a move file. So the sound was recorded completely separate from the digital camera.

Explanation of the video:
Sunday we woke up to a real bad ice storm. Monday we woke up to no power. Wednesday night at 10 pm power was restored. YAY! Here's a few pictures of the damage done. Tulsa has been completely remodeled in merely a week. Yikes. Then there's also a clip of the new dog I adopted dancing her little head off. The other dogs aren't actually mine. I'm dog sitting, because when you have four at the house you can't take them all with you. So I got two more to add to my own two to house until power was restored. I happily returned them in the morning... Excuse the mess on the floor.
Steve H.
P.S.
You can take a closer look at the pictures of the damage at my Flckr page. Although they haven't all been uploaded yet...

  • my grandparents & friends live n oklahoma hey said it was awful

  • Yeah, it was the most bizarre winter storm I think. Because usually when you have a winter storm, the roads aren't safe. The roads for this storm were pretty safe. (You just needed to watch out for fallen tree limbs...) You usually stay inside where it's warm and safe. My home was safe, but it wasn't warm... So we spent as much time elsewhere as we could. And you can usually enjoy the storm for what it's worth. The only enjoyment I had was recording it. Thank you for the comment!

  • Great video. I love your dogs!!

  • Thank you. In the end, my dancing dog was by far my favorite part of the video. She kind of stole the spot light didn't she?

Stay tuned, I'm working on more videos to come :) Probably another dog one soon...

  • I remember this year it sucked I passed out the night before woke up early that morning and every one was gone so I went out to have something to eat and my dog followed me out of my room boom out the glass door a winter wounder land of falling trees lol my family were out trying to find gas for there car the entire day.

  • Ah, I remember it well.

  • Thanks so much for posting these pictures! and your dogs are adorable.

  • I live in tulsa, and I enjoyed that ice storm, because I dont like the hot weather. The blizzard we had on christmas was crazy.

So we have to enjoy the cold even if it's bad, cause we can not stand so much heat on the summer. Thank you for posting this.

  • Some of these photographs of trees were breathtaking. I'd hang them up on my wall. lol. Thanks for sharing.
