to those who think kallis is better than sobers then please remember that bradman said that sobers played the greatest innings on australian soil.kallis's batting is the perfect cure for insomnia

@lozzag13 dude, tell me how many matches kallis has played against zimbawe & bangladesh? sobers none! sobers bowling avg is 28 while kallis bowling avg is 34.. see murali had 800 wickets while warne has 708 but murali took 174 wwickets against zimbawe n bangladesh n wanre has 6 wickets against em, both of teams these teams r weaker.. comparing sobers with kallis is like comparing tamim iqbal with saeed anwar or sarwan with sachin tendular.. i hope u got my point .. cheers mate

@shreepal50 He's fantastic of course!

@jwgeezer sachin tendulkar is da best

If you exclude games played against Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, Kallis's batting average is worse than Sobers' (Doing the same for Tendulkar gives a batting average of 52, compared to 57 for Brian Lara, but don't tell that to any sensitive indians...). The statisttics can be misleading.

@lozzag13 In Sobers' time there were less test playing countries, the standard of opposition was higher. Still the greatest all rounder. Kallis has a tremendous record, one of the very greatest to play for Wales, helped crush England. The great Syd Barnes helped Wales crush the West Indies at the age of 55.

@CabLuigi im not suggesting, the stats are.
Sobers and Bradman are the first two names on the team sheet for an all time World XI.
