I do suffer from this. It's a very serious condition which doesn't cause death, but it will be explained in the video. This is a subject that is very close to my heart, please watch.

  • u girls are all lucky you can wear eyeliner i have nothing to cover up it

  • @MrThomasgu Actually, I regularly crossdress (Just to mess with people), and have found that using a thin line of brown eyeliner can give the impression of eyelashes.

  • I think it's kind of weird of you to say "ew" about anyone else's problems with trich.

The first thing we need is to grow acceptance, then we can grow some hair.

I have serious trich, all sorts of hair is open to pulling. I also have major depression. and I've been suicidal for a long time now.

There is some research but no definitive help for us. I wish for the day when I can comfortably go out of the house without eyeliner.

  • You are truly beautiful! God loves you so much! You've got a purpose on this Earth. God bless!

  • I have trich. I pull my eyebrows and eyelashes. I have no eyelashes but my eyebrows are okay. I eat my own hair. And I can't stop and I'm afraid of dying. I have had this for 5 years and it's so frustrating. I'm even afraid to look people in the eyes because they will notice. TRICHOTILLAMANIA SUCKS!

  • I thought I was the only one as well for about 8 years now, but I found out that it was certainly a OCD type thing. The compulsion can be quite overpowering most of the time, but I agree will power is definatly key to recovery. No matter how many hats, gloves, or whatever little knicknak you have. If you have this disorder, it feels like a curse, but the silver lining is that it's truly a measure of how much will power you have, and once you do recover, you can truely appreciate yourself more.

  • @Anniethecoolone same :(

  • Just wanted to say thank you for posting!! I have suffered from tric for 2o years and I think you are brave for coming out and talking about it. Maybe I will build up the courage to come out as well :)
