Without the King, Cambodia would be no peace. Lon Nol, Pol Pot, even Hun Sen before the king returned back to Cambodia. there were always at wars. Those who dislike the king are really just being brainwash by the Capitalist Imperialism, even Communist. Don't blame the King for Khmer Rouge,, Blame the Americans under Richard Nixon who bribed Lon Nol to over throw the King while he was over sea. Learn Some respect for your own King.

I knew almost nothing about Cambodia until I met a lady who became one of my closest friends. Sally, who is Chinese, was born in Cambodia in 1963 and was taken away from her Chinese parents by the Khmer Rouge in 1975 and put in one of the work camps for almost four years and nearly starved to death. I hope to travel to Cambodia some day. I am very interested in this culture.

The King is a constitutional monarch. His only power is the trust and faith on the Khmer people which he earns a new each day. He has no role in government and no political power. He is the living symbol and moral guide of his country. He works each day for the Khmer people. We wish The King stand front for Khmer people..
