Claudia Russell performs the childrens song made famous by her father, Val Rosing (aka Gilbert Russell.) Rosing was the vocalist on the original 1932 BBC recording by the Henry Hall Orchestra, one of the UK's top bands of the 1930s.
Claudia is accompanied by her band, the Folk Unlimited Orchestra: Bruce Kaplan, mandolin, Mark Petrella, bass, and Carl Byron, piano.
There are a few Val Rosing performances on You Tube, one with Henry Hall doing "Here's to the Next Time," and a nice clip of him singing "Leaning On A Lampost," and a dozen or so spinning record type videos.
