Yup, That's happened to me too, what I usually do is make a backup of the original dvd and burn it at the slowest speed, 1x, that works almost all the time

@bravo075 I don't have my PS2 modded, plus my DVD-R burner is broken. If my PS2 was modded, it'd get so much use.
