The sad thing is the gophers get every good player in the area. the mavs and every other minnesota team have to deal with that and yet they still beat them. Being a gopher fan is like being a yankees fan.. just bandwagoners.

The effort from whoever was backchecking on the play was TRBL TURRRIBLE. Great goal, great crowd response, great series. Too bad the Mavs never seem to get over the hump and too bad the Gopher hockey team is a shell of its former self.

This is funny to me. The Gophers were so down that year. If ever there was a year for the kato boys to beat the Gophers, that was it. Still the greatest weekend of hockey I probably will ever witness. Almost gave me a heart attack but that was an amazing weekend of hockey!

The Mavs may have lost the series, but that game 1 victory was poetic justice. How many games between the two have been 1-2 goal games decided by a penalty call late in the game? Not saying the refs tried to screw the Mavs, but I bet everyone pulling for the purple/white was thinking "not again"... then a SHG to win it... just crazy.

funny thing is you guys are all bitches and get way better recruits than any other midwest team and still cant do shit in the off-season.. must just be a shit program i guess.
not that the mavs are any better but at least were not a failure of an allstar game.
