Why not? They are labeled as nerds so they are taking it back lol

After watching this I agree.
Rap can be about whatever the hell you want,
Nerdcore is the category these nerds made for
themselves, so let them be. It beats mainstream lol
This new style shouldn't be compared to hardcore
Hip-Hop though at least not yet. It's too fresh to boast or be rejected.
One should also keep in mind that
After all in the end its Nerds who rule the world.

at 1:00 and 2:28-Why you trying to be Mf Doom?Nerdcore guys,go ahead and do your thing but wack is wack no matter where it comes from. That's just a fucking rip off.As a matter of fact MF DOOM was rapping about comic book characters, sci fi,cartoons, and all kinds of things from pop culture way before this nerdcore stuff.Don't get me wrong I'm not trying insult nerdcore fans but, give it some of YOUR OWN style.

BTW, I'm not a nerd though I'm into comic books, video games, action figures and hip-hop.

The image of the typical nerd is the guy who wears glasses and a tie is already past. Todays nerds are much cooler and are more creative when it comes to fashion and interests.
From seeing this, it must be cooler to be a nerd than a jock especially in The US.

These dudes make this sound like its new, but its not. You could easily categorize people like MF Doom, Kool Keith etc as geek rap. To me this is jus shit sprinkled with sugar.
