Short story:

November 23rd, 2009. 7:48AM to 8:22AM. Lat. -29°41'40" Lon -51°4'7" (Campo Bom, RS, Brazil) facing some point between East and Southeast.

Canon SX10, 3 exposures (-2, 0, +2) each 6 seconds. Using chdk + Ultra Intervalometer script. Photomatix 3.0 made the hdr's. Corel Photopaint X4 cropped, auto-adjusted levels and resized the images from 1600x1200 to 1600x900 to 1280x720. It also sharpened a little. Virtualdub rendered the video, using 10fps, adding the interpolate plugin to make it to 30fps and deflicker plugin to make everything smoother. Saved as xvid: 9.976KB with no audio.

Any questions, suggestions and text corrections are welcome. :-)

  • How many frames does this video contain? Did you create each HDR out of 3 normal photos manually? That must have taken weeks!

  • @Filipskater

Well, 19" @30fps (interpolated. actually we will count as 10fps) = 190 frames. Each frame was made from three bracket photos.

I just made three HDRs (one at the start, one in the middle and one at the end of the capture). I picked the settings of my favourite one and Photomatix made all the tonemapping under a batch operation. In a few ours, they were set. :)

Watch my other timelapses, maybe you would enjoy then as well. :)

  • Dae cara, estou pensando em comprar uma sx10 is, você me recomenda?

Quero uma Canon pois curti muito o CHDK...

  • @Aerohix Recomendo fortemente, se for comprar usada.

  • nice!
