Sony Vaio + Intel Centrino with 4Gb RAM.
My startup is still over 120 seconds! Though Shutdown is only 8 seconds. Wish I could get into Windows quicker. Besides buying Windows7 is there anything else I can do?

The Core i7 Extreme whatever, that was $1000 was replaced with a newer core i7 for $1000 that is a Hexicore. It has 6 cores. Therefore, The EVGA sr2 motherboard, supports 2 1366 sockets, So 2 Core i7 Hexicores for $2000 with 6 cores each =12 cores.

Are you kidding me? Search google and you'll find out. It's a registry editor. Dont mess around with it if you dont know what your doing though. I use it to hack programs! Go to run and type regedit. Dont screw with anything before you know what your doing though.
