Video log of Mythos - his first week at our home (at his 12 week). Suggested by books and articles from Internet, we had to carefully introduce Mythos to our 1 year old cat, Rini. So, we put him in his safe room so that Rini didn't feel offended, then slowly brought Mythos out and met with Rini.

  • Filmed his cat takin a shit?

  • these cats are beautiful!

  • Best to give the new kitten a small space (like a bathroom) with hiding places like the carrier you used to bring him home. Let him decide when he wants to explore further. The cage was a good idea because it allow them to see and smell each other in a non-threatening way. One other trick is to find something that the kitten has left its scent on and place it where the resident cat is. Best overall advice is "slow and patient".
