They're called Tidal Waves and they are South African. The name of the track is Kia Ora and the singer is Jacob 'Zakes' Wulana. Nice track hey :)

Heard they are to be at the Austin Reggae Fest April 20-22, 2012. Trying to locate their music online...have learned they are TIDAL WAVES, not Tidal Wave. And, these guys are not NZ Kiwi, but South African.

Cool Song!! I will check to see if any of the Brothers know this one. The singer is african not Maori. Great voice.

ye i think the singer is from Botswana but dont quote me on that one lol just going off what the guy who gave me the song told me. He's from Bots aswell :)

Seems like no one knows the mysterious name of the Botswanan Singer. Have you heard it get airplay back on iwi radio?? It is a cracking tune. very addictive listening. Have you had any success finding the artist?

No I havnt heard it on iwi radio im in australia but I can imagin everybody loves it as much as I did when I first heard it :) unfortunatly I have had no luck finding out who the singer is yet. But I will keep asking around.
