i think my cellphone cam picks up more bass than the one i used

in loudness or quality?? i doubt quality.. ive heard many poineer systems.. (all pioneer) and they have this sound which i dont like.. just like th RF... and alpine and sony xplod... they are all loud.. no doubt bout that.. but the sound... i wournt be able to stand it..

i have 2 15 in type rs alpine and they sound amazing with all music and the loud ness is crazy maybe you heard crappy set ups pioneers are good speakers too whats your setup spec subs amps?

you better get the CVR we were talkin about, cuz if ur runnin road thunders, omg. im thinkin u need to just start from the bottom up and get a new box subs and amp.

what amp are you running?

if u get a big ported box, a kicker compvr 15, and a kenwood kac-8103D then ur shit would sound good. thats what i have and it wangs like muh fucka

Cellphones can usually pic up bass really good, but they will drown out everything else and distort it horribly. I know my palm PC picks up bass better than both my cameras and camcorder, but it doesnt sound as good.

I watched that video with a subwoofer and still didnt hear any bass.

You must listen to an SPL3000 Pioneer or SPL5000 Pioneer in person. One that is setup good, better than mine. With a powerful amp and nice big box. I can assure you if youv heard a good Pioneer setup with their higher end Premiers they would sound better than "road thunders".

And Sony Xplod is neither. No SPL or SQ. Their subs are built purely to sell, and nothing more. Granted they are durable and can handle power to an extent more so than cheap subs, but they arnt LOUD and certainly dont sound good. Xplod is just a money maker, no research is really put into the speakers or subwoofers or amps.

You got things somewhat backwords. Perhaps you like distorted sound, thats fine. But RF and Pioneer both make better sounding subwoofers and speakers than MTX. MTX and Kicker are both focused more on SPL than SQ. Pioneer and RF focus on SQL.
