A very young Steffan ab Owain attempting to save the Cornish language single handedly (I'm joking by the way - there are great efforts by alot of great people so keep up the good work) by doing some more Kernewek phrases. Initially I bore you all by showing you my books that have helped me and I would recommend every one of them to anyone. Keep trying to use YOUR Kernewek where you can, even it's just 'Dydh da' and 'Meur ras'. As they say in Tesco, "Every little helps!"

  • you're adorable. hair and all.

  • @stecymru14 About 150,000 speakers. That's an honest number, rather than the official 1.5 million on record. I'm a fluent Irish speaker.

  • lol I've got the same mini-dictionnary in french-breton/brezhoneg-galleg ^^

  • Mae'r llyfrau yn edrych yn eithaf diddorol, gallaf siarad Gwyddeleg yn rhugl ac mae llawer o Alban, ynghyd â rhai Cernyweg (yr wyf yn Gernyweg). Yr wyf yn dysgu Cymraeg ar hyn o bryd. (Dwi'n meddwl bod hynny'n gywir) : P

  • @codeaires сука

  • i usually only come on here when im drunk or bored so the whole angry young man stuff comes out in my posts and the one u replied to is particularly embarassing lol

  • I have some sympathy for you, but if you march around wearing orange, you're not going to make it with anyone.

Seriously, you need to keep anger out of your posts if you want the world to start sympathizing with the Northern Irish.

  • I think you're right.

    Well... I hope you're right.

  • I don't think that Cornish will die. After all, Hebrew was almost a dead language but the Jewish people cared too much about it to let it die. I think the same will be the case with all the Celtic languages, really :D
