  • Dang you got to 60 in like 5 flat. didn't know those Lincoln's were that fast. It's pretty much the exact same thing as the Jaguar S Type right?

  • Actually 0-60 is about 6.5 and it's not the S-Type, the Lincoln LS is the Jag S-Type vehicle. The Continental was based more on the Taurus frame, but yes it is fast.

  • i'm not hatin but how is yours so fast? My friend has the same car and his isn't nearly as fast. he's doing about 7 seconds to 60. i timed this at about 5.8

  • As I posted earlier, it is actually around 6.5 to 60, the "Virtual Image Cluster" is at a bad angle and makes it hard to see when it actually hits the 60 mark

  • it might be the needle but if its not, that is the fastest change in rpms when you shift i have ever seen lol

  • @thewhoissuperb24 get a 96 and up..trannys are usually bad if not owned by grandpa...all came witha 4.6L DOHC V8, 1994.5 and down came with a bone 6 cyl

  • @Carpoof1 Yea that's right and btw guys these cars aren't built for straight line they're built for autocrossing, track racing, and backroads etc.

  • just bought a 98 and Im hearin funny noises off one of the belts when I reverse any ideas which it could be? ( I would check myself if I could be driving the car and checking the engine @ the same time )

  • I have a hard time believeing it's "100% stock" considering it gets to 60 in 5 sec flat. Somethin's fishy here.....

  • definitely.

  • His launch was really good. Most guys wont be able to emulate that without alot of practice.

A bad launch can add around a second 0-60

  • this video is totally sped up, though i dont think intentionally. just listen to the tire squeel, its way to fast. No, offense.

  • I would recommend a 1998 or newer. that was the best body style in my opinion, plus it has the V8 in it. The early 90's models were 3.8L V6

  • lol sorry, i meant "improve" 0-60 and 1/4 mile times :)
