@awfuldynne yeah neutron stars and heavier are so dense and massive their gravity is literally visible; if one approaches a neutron star they can tell where it is by looking for a distortion disk

Wikipedia states that white dwarfs are comparable in volume to Earth, and in mass to Sol. Neutron stars are both smaller and heavier. (As in, an 8-mile radius "smaller" and up to twice the mass of the sun)
