An area known for some of the world's largest banks and upscale shopping.

Getting There/Directions
Tram - Number 6, 7, 11, Or 13 to Bahnhofstrasse/HB station.

An area known for some of the world's largest banks and upscale shopping. (Zurich, Switzerland)

Bahnhofstrasse is one of the most expensive streets in the world. And of course, it is the main shopping area in downtown Zurich. In these shops you can find many of the high quality Swiss goods, and international labels. "We are specializing in writing culture (high class sationery)." Paradeplatz Square in Bahnhofstrasse is known as the money-spending area of Switzerland. All around here you can see banks and famous boutiques and restaurants. When you are in Paradeplatz you should definitely check out Springli, the oldest chocolate shop in all Europe. They have more chocolates than you can even imagine.

Okay, now I am not going to pick your pocket, I promise. "We already had dinner, there is nothing left." Oh, okay, well that is good. "So we had a lot of fun shopping today. Window shopped, we ate at several places. We went to the railway station, we went to the open air market where they have all the food stalls, and we had a wonderful lunch there, and we just finished dinner at a restaurant." Did you know that there are almost a hundred different Bahnhofstrasse in Europe? But this is the one which is world famous. I am Nadia Migdal, showing you Zurich.

  • Africans need to be smart and form a cartel to prevent Europeans benefiting from Chocolate anymore. Processing, packaging and sales has to take place in Africa. When raw beans are just shipped abroad, Africa gains nothing from the potential jobs and money that can be made from all parts of the process taking in the country. Enough is enough. Calling something Swiss or Belgian when it is a lie, has to stop. It like saying Champagne is Chinese, when it is from North France
