In States (especially mine, Texas), that's in THE U.S, you have a good chance of being shot by not only a store-owner, but a civilian. Owning a hand-gun here is legal without permit, the only permit needed is concealed carry. So yes, you have a good chance of being shot doing this in certain states in America. Good day.
